Jessica Trotter is an archivist by training who now works as a Collection Development Specialist for Capital Area District Libraries in Lansing, Michigan. She also works as Digital Selector for the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services OverDrive Consortium, serves on the Board for LibraryReads, and advocates for thoughtful and inclusive readers’ advisory.

Yaika Sabat
Yaika Sabat is the Manager of Reader Services at NoveList, where she develops strategies for helping readers and trains library staff in the art of recommending books. Before NoveList, she worked in public libraries, and no matter the role, her favorite part of work has always been discussing books. As a lifelong horror fan and member of the Horror Writers Association’s Library Advisory Council and Summer Scares Selection Committee, she works to encourage libraries to embrace the horror genre.

Rebecca Vnuk
Moderator Rebecca Vnuk is the Executive Director of LibraryReads. She worked as a public librarian for a decade before becoming the first editor for Collection Management and Library Outreach at Booklist magazine. Rebecca is the author of three reference books on the topic of Women’s Fiction, as well as a best-selling book on weeding library collections.
