What you will learn

Meet FOLIO, FOLIO ERM and Managing Open Access

FOLIO manages both print and electronic resources in a single system. Uniquely, it can be set up as a stand-alone Electronic Resource Management (ERM) system.

Understanding the importance of Open Access workflows, FOLIO provides the ability to record and report all aspects of Open Access requests and link these requests to any transitional or transformational publisher agreements in the library. FOLIO’s Open Access application works with FOLIO Library Services Platform (LSP).

Meet OpenRS (Open Resource Sharing)

OpenRS is a new resource sharing tool that will work across multiple different vendor library systems, including FOLIO. We will discuss how OpenRS can support Direct Consortial Borrowing and demonstrate how it facilitates borrowing across library networks.

Meet Panorama Analytics

Panorama is a modern library analytics platform combining different library and campus data to enable insights that were not possible until now. With Panorama, libraries can streamline data sources into a single dashboard to easily view, share and evaluate institutional metrics.

Panorama’s dashboards can also automate libraries gathering of data needed for reporting to national standards organizations.

Integrating Reading Lists with FOLIO

eReserve+ is a new reading list and copyright management solution available directly from EBSCO. eReserve+ integrates with EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) and Panorama analytics with further integrations under development. In addition to eReserve+, FOLIO supports workflows of KeyLinks and Aspire reading list systems.

Meet BiblioGraph

BiblioGraph brings BIBFRAME and Linked Data to your library catalogue. Library users can now explore, use and access your library catalogue from anywhere on the web, such as Learning Management Systems, LibGuides and Google.

Hear how Library of Congress’ implementation of FOLIO with BIBFRAME seeks to address challenges in the library space.
