Each month, EBSCO runs a wide range of complimentary online training classes across our resources. It does not matter if you are currently subscribed to a resource or just want to learn about a product you are considering, these classes are a fun and interactive way to discover more. Our local training specialists can answer any questions, and recorded sessions can be viewed later or passed on to colleagues.

EBSCO Mobile App

The EBSCO Mobile App provides library users with an effortless way to access the library's articles and e-books on the go. The app makes scholarly research more convenient and allows patrons to continue research projects even when they are away from their desk. Learn how to use the EBSCO Mobile App to access quality library resources anytime, anywhere.

EBSCOhost training

These 60-minute overviews of the EBSCOhost interface cover basic and advanced searching techniques including available search modes, Boolean operators, use of limiters and expanders and review of the results page, as well as how to save, cite and print results. These sessions will also cover publication searching and online help/support.

EBSCO eBooks

These sessions are intended for librarians and library patrons using EBSCO eBooks. Topics will include: searching and browsing options, viewing and downloading e-books, and managing personal preferences via the MyEBSCO folder.

This in-depth EBSCOhost Passport training will cover installation, features, and functionality. Attendees will have opportunity to ask questions or provide feedback. Ideal for all students, researchers, faculty, clinicians, and library professionals.

New EBSCOhost Demonstration & Open Questions

Join in for a full preview of the new EBSCOhost user interface. We will cover improvements in accessibility, full text viewing, sharing and citation tools and the new My Dashboard. We'll also discuss go-live preparation tips and optional customisations available in EBSCO Experience Manager. Bring your questions and we’ll explore together!

EBSCO Discovery Service: New User Interface

In this session, we'll take a look at some of the improvements in the updated EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) interface; including personalised dashboards, modern result lists, greater citing and sharing options and enhanced detailed record features. The updated Publication Finder and new Concept Map integrations will also be demonstrated, along with a review of helpful resources available from EBSCO Connect to assist in your EDS transition.

This session will introduce accessing and scheduling standard usage reports in EBSCOadmin; highlight alternative reports to explore as well as review usage analytics.
