Join us for a discussion with industry leaders as they explore what it takes to support reliable access and trustworthy information and approaches in support of open science.
An open research infrastructure may refer to interoperable tools, platforms and functionality that work in unison in support of a multitude of research activities from discovery, to publishing and the assessment of research. To ensure interoperability and thus remove barriers to research, we must consider our goals first across the continuum of research activities. How, for example, do we ensure unfettered access and optimal discoverability of the totality of research that is created by the institution? How do we collect and disseminate research? And how do we preserve research for long-term access and usability? Panelists will discuss approaches to attaining these and other goals by looking at initiatives, standards and platforms in support of an open research infrastructure.
