Evidence-Based Acquisition (EBA) through GOBI

GOBI partners with top academic publishers to enable librarians to manage their EBA programs through GOBI.

GOBI EBA Publisher Partners

GOBI supports the Evidence-Based Acquisition programs with the following top academic publishers:

  • IGI Global Evidence-Based Acquisition (EBA):
Provide users with access to DRM-free, unlimited multi-user e-books on the InfoSci® platform, review a usage report at the end of the period, and purchase titles with perpetual access based on usage. Availability subject to country/territory restrictions.
  • Taylor & Francis Evidence-Based Acquisition (EBA):
Select a minimum spend and provide library users with a broad range of DRM-free titles for their research needs. Then, use annual usage data analysis to expand the library’s perpetual collection at the end of the EBA period.
  • Wiley Usage-Based Collection Management (UBCM):
Provide patrons with access to all e-books on Wiley Online Library and receive usage reports. At the end of the access term, evaluate usage and select titles equal to or greater than the committed amount. The program has no automatic triggers or fees, and libraries control all purchase decisions.
