MEDLINE Complete is a full-text database that provides access to leading journals in the fields of biomedicine and healthcare. During this session, we will introduce a specialized thesaurus – MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) – and explore how to use it when searching in MEDLINE Complete.

MLA International Bibliography with Full Text is a source that combines an extensive collection of full-text journals with the definitive index for the study of language, literature, linguistics, rhetoric, writing studies, folklore, film, theater, and other dramatic arts. MLA Thesaurus is the controlled vocabulary used in indexing the materials listed in the bibliography. We will introduce how to conduct a search via this thesaurus and we will also introduce MLA Directory of Periodicals that provides important information for scholars who are planning to publish their work. RILM Abstracts of Music Literature with Full Text provides access to information and full-texts for music research in many subjects of music, in dozens of languages. This database includes in-depth vocabulary-controlled indexing that we will introduce as well.
